LIGHTS and SHADOWS

I have a fascination with buildings and recently I have let myself take numerous photos of these tall pillars. Overall, this is my favorite photo out of the rest of my building photos (more to come!) and I am proud to present this one to my father. He always appreciated different businesses and this photo made me think of how I see his appreciation in a picture. Through my perspective, I see how these buildings were built--there could have been alot of ups and down, but when I see them standing, it's lights and shadows. Reflecting yellow lights and towering over each others' shadows, these pillars join in their successes. Art makes them a building, business makes them a success. "Them" is the individual. I am an individual and I strive to have my own pillar--my lights and shadows.
